In the Japanese city of Kawanishi, an 89-year-old man passed away approximately an hour and a half after an incident in a park where he bit a woman.

During an argument, the elderly individual bit a 49-year-old woman on the arm, leading to his arrest. When police officers attempted to escort him to the patrol car, he refused to cooperate, sitting on the ground.

Due to the challenging terrain, officers had to carry the man on a stretcher for about 200 meters. En route, the detainee suddenly became ill. His handcuffs were promptly removed, and he was urgently transported to a hospital. However, doctors pronounced him deceased approximately an hour and a half later.

Police officials have stated that an autopsy will be conducted to ascertain the precise cause of death.

In a separate, unrelated incident, a woman in the United Kingdom died several days after sustaining a minor scratch on her leg. The wound developed necrotizing fasciitis, commonly known as 'flesh-eating disease.' Despite undergoing multiple operations, the infection rapidly spread throughout her body. Tragically, she passed away two days before the birth of her granddaughter.
